Carrollton has so many diverse communities within its borders, we invite the citizens of all communities to meet, have a booth, join the celebration, and get to know each other better... with a little glitter, good music, and food. Thanks to Carrollton Pride for making this happen! Chalk artists of all ages welcome. In an election year, getting to know your community is more important than ever.
We have invited 3 food trucks! Last year we had 50+ non-profits, artists, retailers with booths. Here’s a Facebook event link to share with others. Please invite your friends and neighbors.
Volunteers needed
Horizon members and friends please sign up here to help at the 2024 Carrollton Pride Festival.
Volunteers are needed at 8am to help with set up. And especially needed are folks from 2:30pm-4:30pm to help direct traffic and clean up at the end of the event. There are also ways to help before the event. You can donate to help cover the cost of the event by selecting “Give to Pride Event Donation Other” on our Give page and typing Pride Event Donation in the information box when inputting your details.
Volunteer opportunities:
Come early for set up 8:00 am-10:45 am - help vendors set up their tents
Stay late for clean up 2:30 pm-4:30 pm
Direct pedestrian traffic during 10:30am-Noon, Noon-2pm, 2pm-3:30pm
Decorate the building the evening before - Friday May 31 6pm
Host the Horizon booth 10:30am-Noon, Noon-2pm, 2pm-3:30pm
Be on health, cleaning, and safety watch (indoors or outdoors) 10:30am-Noon, Noon-2pm, 2pm-3:30pm
BOOTH REGISTRATION
Limited booth space is still available for $25 for non-profit or $50 for profit at: https://forms.gle/BUp9eQAWxVrxDxJm9.
After registering and receiving confirmation from Carrollton Pride. To pay for a booth go to: horizonuu.org/donate. Booth fee is $25 for non-profit orgs and $50 for others. Fees help us fund the event next year. See directions for fee payment below.
Step one: change the amount from $100 to your appropriate amount.
Step two: on the first drop-down select "Give to Pride event booth".
Step three: click continue
Step four: enter your information and credit card number and any comments such as your organization name if it does not match the name on the credit card and it would be very kind if you checked the box to cover the processing fee.
