Join us during this weekend retreat where we can throw off responsibilities, relax, and reconnect. The annual event designed for woman-aligned Horizon members and visitors age 21+ is a great place to build friendships! Connect with other women this year as we explore "Strength for the Journey”.

The location, Lake Murray Lodge and Cabins, is a wooded area with walking trails and access to the clear waters of Lake Murray in a state park near Ardmore, Oklahoma. It is less than 90 minutes from Horizon. We have access to 3 private one room cabins, seven one bedroom cabins with 2 twin beds, 3 larger cabins, and 8 hotel rooms. All units come with linens provided and in unit bathrooms, refrigerators, and microwaves. The cabins have small ovens but dishes and cookware are not provided. Our meeting space is in the beautiful lodge facility on the lake.

Look for the Women’s Retreat Registration table in the Fellowship Hall before and after service August 10, 17, and 24, and 31 or please register online Aug 9-31. Cost is $115-$350 depending on housing choice (private or shared, cabin or hotel) or $45 for Saturday only with no housing. We don’t want anyone to miss out, financial assistance is available by emailing WomensRetreat@HorizonUU.org. Registration limited to 45 women.
