Reverend Lora is responding calls from members in need of assistant due to job loss and other events related to the pandemic. The Minister’s Discretionary Fund (MDF) allows Reverend Lora to respond in a timely manner to members of the congregation, people from the community, and community organizations in times of need. It allows the minister to respond with generosity on Horizon’s behalf without delay. The MDF is not part of Horizon’s annual budget. It is funded entirely by direct contributions from individuals. You may GIVE HERE to the MDF by putting MDF in the additional information box. You may also mail checks to the church made out to Horizon UU Church with MCF on the memo line.
