Climate & Food Justice Letter-writing Workshop

The Horizon Green Sanctuary Task Force is happy to announce an upcoming event in which Horizon members can take action for our Earth and our siblings upon it. The event is part of the Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth's "Spring for Change: a Season of Sacred Activism" campaign, in conjunction with UUSJ's WriteHere!WriteNow! letter writing program. Sarah Berel-Harrop and Melinda Enochs-Baucom will facilitate a 1-hour interactive workshop in which they will present the issue and a few tips on writing a personalized and effective letter. There will be opportunity for participants to share ideas, and some inspiring music while we compose letters to our representatives in favor of 2 bills that support a just transition to climate-friendly agriculture. Letters will be composed and sent by each individual using the online UUSJ portal. Please, join us for an hour of living out our faith by advocating for social, racial, and environmental justice!
