Elevate North Texas’ mission is to fill in the gap of youth homelessness with emergency shelter. We provide a safe, affirming environment through access to immediate shelter and reunification with family, when possible. They serve youth/young adults ages 18 to 24. LGBTQ+ youth are already a vulnerable population and at higher risk of anxiety, depression, homelessness, and self-harm than their non-LGBTQ peers. Elevate North Texas wants every youth that comes through their doors to know that they are loved and accepted just as they are. Elevate’s job is to provide a safe, healthy, and affirming environment for these youth to stay and elevate themselves to greater things.
