SWUUW Con 2022 returns to an In-Person conference the weekend of March 4-5-6, 2022 at the Embassy Suites DFW North in Grapevine, Texas. Grapevine is conveniently located between the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth. Our conference theme is “For The Beauty Of The Earth” representing women’s lives in action and harmony with our UU 7th principle – Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. We’re also excited to be celebrating our 35th consecutive, annual Southwest UU Women’s conference in 2022!

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Amy Martin (Moonlady.com), a journalist and writer for over 35 years, she is author of the upcoming Wild Dallas-Fort Worth: Explore the Amazing Nature of North Texas for Timber Press and Itchy Business: How to Treat the Poison Ivy and Poison Oak Rash. She has been contributing editor for the national magazine Garbage (recycling and features), and has written for Dallas Morning News (recycling), Dallas Observer (music), and D Magazine and Dallas Times Herald (performing arts). For a dozen years, Martin operated an alternative news service, Moonlady News from her nickname. A leader in Earth-centered and unaffiliated spirituality, Martin was director of Earth Rhythms and creator of acclaimed Winter SolstiCelebrations for 20 years.
