The Trans Empowerment Coalition (TEC) is a coalition by and for trans people centering our collective healing and liberation. TEC’s mission is to cultivate and grow the power, resilience, and liberation of the trans and gender-expansive community in Dallas. Our core tenet is that community is how we grow and thrive. We dream of being a place where trans and gender-expansive people can connect, belong, and empower one another.

We currently offer regular social gatherings for trans adults and teens, provide support for tangible needs such as gender affirming clothing (binders and gaffs), workshops on correcting identity documents, and classes on learning skills for social transition needs.
