Horizon Players' Summer Dessert Theatre

  • Horizon Unitarian Universalist Church 1641 West Hebron Parkway Carrollton, TX, 75010 United States (map)

This event will take place on October 13th and 14th.

Mark your calendar for October 13-14, 8:00 p.m. That’s when the HORIZON PLAYERS’ 2023 Summer Dessert Theatre production “EVERYONE” bounds onto the Horizon stage with a collection of comic characters such as you’ve never seen! Music, singing, and dance will also light up the evening, with the Horizon Players band on tap and our own Carmen Doubrava at the keyboard. Written, directed, and lyricized by our inhouse playwright, Jim Sturdivant, “Everyone” is a parody of the allegorical medieval morality play “The Summoning of Everyman.” Jim describes his work as “an irreverent review of the lighter side of death.” Join us for the fun as the eponymous main character desperately tries to avoid, or at least make tolerable, the inevitable fate of every one of us.
