Texas UU Justice Ministry (TXUUJM)

TXUUJM educates and organizes Texas UUs, member congregations, and partners to advocate effectively for UU principles in public policy and the public square. Together with UU congregations around the state their mission is to bend Texas toward justice by:

• Upholding the worth and dignity of every person;

• Furthering justice, equity, and compassion in human relations;

• Ensuring the use of the democratic process;

• Protecting religious freedom; 

• Promoting respect for the interdependent web of all existence; and

• Accountably dismantling racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.

Key areas of focus include UU the Vote, transgender inclusion in congregations and educational support for Article II and the 8th principle. Learn more at https://txuujm.org/.
