Support Metrocrest and Horizon while visiting safely with others from church. Drop off your donations for Metrocrest and sell and/or buy items in our first ever Parking Lot Yard Sale church fundraiser*.
*Note: All yard sale purchases will go towards Horizon’s operating fund. We will have a cashier who can take cash, credit cards and checks. (If you wish to donate money to Metrocrest, visit www.metrocrestservices.org )
How the sale will work: If you are bringing items to sell, you can begin setting up as early as 12:30. You can sell out of your trunk or bring a table to set up behind your car, similar to Halloween trunk or treating. Or you could lay items on the ground or on a blanket behind your vehicle. Or bring a picture of large items and arrange for pickup or delivery later. (Horizon’s tables are not available for your use due to COVID protocols.)
Safety rules:
- If you are selling, cars should be parked every other space to allow for distancing
- Masks and social distancing are required
- No eating or drinking is permitted
Pricing: Mark your prices so shoppers can see them and so the cashier will know what to charge
After the sale: When the sale ends at 4pm, you can take your unsold items back home or stay after 4pm and help pack them into Metrocrest’s truck; Metrocrest will transport any unsold items to sell at their Resale Shop, but you will have to stay and help with the loading.
METROCREST Donation drop-off 1-4pm
We will also be collecting donations for Metrocrest during the yard sale from 1pm to 4pm. Items requested: personal care products, diapers and baby wipes, laundry detergent, and canned meats.
